Course content
TOPICS: 1) Delimitation of the central problems. Methods of acquiring and gathering information, excerption of relevant sources. 2) Looking up monographs, papers and abstracts in the databases of libraries in CR and their critical evaluation. 3) Looking up monographs, papers and abstracts in foreign databases. 4) Formal requirements of DP, text segmentation of the text and its layout, work with note apparatus, the organization and effectiveness of the text. 5) References, the principles and ways of citation of used sources and literature, the list of used literature, the principles of bibliography writing. 6) The language and content features of the text, appropriate and inappropriate structures, the use of terminology 7) The requirements of scientific and academic work, science, hypothesis, experiment.

Learning outcomes
A student works on his/her Bachelor's Thesis in accordance with the assignment. He/she carries out research of literature and other sources and home and foreign library databases and together with the supervisor particularizes the structure of the thesis. In the theoretical part the student sets and analyses the main problems, tasks and the main concepts dealt with in the thesis. The student proposes the potential research and application part of the thesis.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Student's performance analysis

To pass the course: processing the theoretical part of the work approved by the Head ofelaborated research method (questionnaire, interview apd)
