Course content
|
Lectures: 1) Department of medical technology, organizational structure; technical records of medical devices; technician in clinical and laboratory operation; metrologická služba; procurement of medical technology, in the form of public contracts; share in the acquisition of medical devices and equipment; acceptance of medical technology; briefing of medical staff 2) Maintenance and repair internal, external, maintenance; periodic electrical inspections and controls; the life cycle of the medical device; legislative framework of the medical technology department, basic technical standards; quality management system in the field of medical technology; the role of a clinical technician in safety and operational risk analysis 3) Human factor and medical devices; technical records of medical devices; safety and reliability of medical technology in the environment of medical workplaces; developing a first indicative background for the acquisition of a medical device; analysis of service contracts; critical points and their security when commissioning a medical device or complex; instruction to use the designated device; alert systems informing of adverse events in the operation of the medical device 4) Laws and decrees transposed into organizational guidelines of the healthcare facility; medical device and declaration of conformity; analyzes of specific interfaces between internal and external services, legal and economic context. Gases used in health care (physico-chemical properties, effects on humans); distribution and storage of medical gases, rules for the operation of pressure vessels

|
The course introduces models for medical facilities, medical devices, their selection, purchase, installation.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

|
Student's performance analysis, Didactic test
Credit: - elaboration of a laboratory task, - a written test.
