Course content
Lectures: 1. IRS - characteristics, phases of emergency medical operations, organization and management of on-site activities MU sorting. Emergency Services. Integrated rescue chain. Organization of rescue operations. Liaison IRS components, cooperation with other emergency departments. Specifics of rescue services (mining, mountain, water, air). 2. Characteristics of work EMS, EMS department, ambulance stations operating rules, the organizational structure of EMS. Technical conditions of EMS operations, material and hygiene requirements for EMS operations and hygienic, Pandemic regime in terms of PNP. Main tasks and scope of activities EMS, EMS performance mobile part, technical and personnel prerequisites for EMS operations, training of professionals of Emergency Medicine. 3. Prehospital medicine, outpatient and inpatient folder mutual links and the main differences mainly from terms of urgent care, differentiated health care. 4. Main laws and regulations and international agreements related to the NP in this country and abroad. The possibility of changes, exceptions and ad hoc provisions. Crisis, armed, and departmental emergency legislation emergency plan. Exercise: 1. Crews, types, technical and human resources. Information systems in the EMS and the IRS. 2. Operational Centre to receive and process emergency calls. 3. Analysis and analysis of selected MU. Model dealing with emergencies. 4. Files crisis planning - contingency plans and emergency preparedness plans (internal and external emergency plans, emergency orders, traumatology plans).

Learning outcomes
The course is conceived as theoretical-practical unit, which includes the issue of the integrated rescue system the specifications for its cooperation in crisis management. The course acquaints students with the integrated rescue chain - the IRS, with categories of health workers involved and their education system, with cooperation with non-healthcare emergency services. Informs about emergency situations and the role of disaster medicine, mass disasters. Taken into account is the legal aspect. The student is able to define the basic legislative determination regarding emergency services and critical medical conditions. The student is able to define competences, rights and obligations paramedic. The student is able to sleep differences exceptional conditions, state of emergency, terrorism, war medicine.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

80% attendance at seminars 70% written test (1 regular attempt) and 2 repair attempts), after passing the test it is possible to proceed to graded credit in the form of an oral examination (1st regular and 2nd correction terms).
