Course content
Lectures: 1) Types of scintigraphic examinations, static, dynamic and whole-body examination, gamma camera 2) Dynamic scintigraphy: ROI, function curves, parametric images 3) Evaluation of scintigraphic examination 4) Scintigraphic examination of the skeleton; three-phase skeletal scintigraphy; bone marrow scintigraphy 5) Scintigraphic examination of the spleen and liver; functional examination of the hepatobiliary system; GIT examination by scintigraphic methods 6) Scintigraphic examination in nephrology and urology Exercises: 1) Scintigraphic examinations 2) ROI and contour drawing 3) Artifacts 4) Scintigraphic examination of the skeleton 5) Scintigraphic examination in GIT, spleen and liver 6) Scintigraphic examination in nephrology and urology

Learning outcomes
The course is a follow-up to Nuclear Medicine 1, informing mainly about the clinical part of the field of nuclear medicine. The content of the course is to acquaint students with the issue of radionuclide diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Written exam

Classified credit: - 80% participation in exercises, - self-study. - written test.
