Course content
Lectures: 1) Emergency care of a patient with acute blood loss and developing hemorrhagic shock 2) Emergency care of the patient in the acute postoperative period, risks of reversal of anaesthesia 3) Shock and its treatment in a health care facility, anaphylactic, septic, circulatory 4) Comprehensive nursing care of the patient with impaired consciousness 5) Specifics of emergency care of the patient with acute heart failure 6) Specifics of emergency care of the patient with acute respiratory failure 7) Commented case reports Translated with Exercises: 1) Practical application of selected case studies using SimMan patient simulator and situational scenario 2) Practical application of selected case studies using SimMan patient simulator and situational scenario 3) Practical application of selected case studies using SimMan patient simulator and situational scenario 4) Practical application of selected case studies using SimMan patient simulator and situational scenario

Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to deepen students' knowledge and skills acquired in the subject Nursing procedures with a focus on special nursing procedures in pre-hospital and intensive care. Urgent care and nursing procedures in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care 3 is the basic issue of emergency care and nursing procedures in the department of acute medicine in medical facilities in patients with specific diagnoses.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Test, Practical exam

Exam: - 75% participation in exercises, - practical and oral exam.
