Lectures: 1) Kidney and urinary tract diseases (inflammatory diseases of urinary tract, urolithiasis, acute and chronic renal failure, dialysis-transplantation program) 2) Metabolism and nutrition disorders, acid-base balance disorders 3) Endocrinological diseases 4) Musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatology 5) Immunological diseases and immunodeficiency conditions 6) Acute poisoning and infectious diseases Exercises: 1) Specifics of nursing care in patients with kidney and urinary tract diseases 2) Specifics of nursing care in patients with metabolic disorders and acid-base balance disorders 3) Specifics of nursing care in a patient with endocrinological disease 4) Specifics of nursing care in patients with musculoskeletal disorders 5) Specifics of nursing care in patients with immunological disease 6) Specifics of nursing care in patients with acute poisoning and infectious diseases

Learning outcomes
|
The subject Nursing Care in Internal Medicine 1-2 is conceived as theoretical-practical. It is part of a complex of subjects from clinical nursing. It characterizes clinical conditions in internal medicine in terms of nursing care and needs of patients altered in connection with the disease, their etiology, symptomatology and diagnosis in diseases of the respiratory system, circulatory system, diseases of the blood, digestive tract, kidneys and urinary tract. diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, immunological diseases, acute poisoning, infectious diseases. Provides an overview of the specifics of nursing care in patients in internal medicine, which is focused on effective solution of nursing problems of patients with internal diseases.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
