Course content
|
Lecture: 1) Respiratory system diseases (inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, TB, COPD, bronchial asthma, tumors, pneumoconiosis, hyperventilation syndrome, mediastinum and pleura) 2) Circulatory system diseases 1 (ischemic heart disease, acute coronary syndromes, heart rhythm disorders) 3) Circulatory system diseases 2 (hypertension, acute and chronic heart failure, pulmonary circulation diseases, congenital and acquired heart defects; cardiomyopathy; endocardial and epicardial diseases, aortic diseases; heart tumors) 4) Blood diseases (red blood cell disease, white blood cell disease and other blood diseases) 5) Diseases of the gastrointestinal system 1: diseases of the esophagus, stomach (gastroduodenal ulcer), bowel disease (Morbus Crohn, Colitis ulcerosa, celiac disease, colorectal cancer) 6) Diseases of the gastrointestinal system 2: liver disease (liver cirrhosis, viral hepatitis), gallbladder and biliary tract disease, pancreas (acute and chronic pancreatitis) Exercises: 1) Specifics of nursing care in patients with diseases of the respiratory system 2) Specifics of nursing care in patients with circulatory system diseases 1 3) Specifics of nursing care in patients with circulatory system diseases 2 4) Specifics of nursing care in a patient with blood disease 5) Specifics of nursing care in patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal system 1 6) Specifics of nursing care in patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal system 2

Learning outcomes
|
The subject Nursing Care in Internal Medicine 1-2 is conceived as theoretical-practical. It is part of a complex of subjects from clinical nursing. It characterizes clinical conditions in internal medicine in terms of nursing care and needs of patients altered in connection with the disease, their etiology, symptomatology and diagnosis in diseases of the respiratory system, circulatory system, diseases of the blood, digestive tract, kidneys and urinary tract. diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, immunological diseases, acute poisoning, infectious diseases. Provides an overview of the specifics of nursing care in patients in internal medicine, which is focused on effective solution of nursing problems of patients with internal diseases.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
