Brief contents of exercises: 1) Methodological Approach to English for Biomedical Students 2) English Grammar Usage 3) Usual Mistakes Made by Scientists Writing and Speaking in English 4) Writing a Manuscript 5) Writing Scientific Correspondence 6) Attending a Scientific Course or Conference

Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester

  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) - 10 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 12 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course develops the knowledge and skills learned in English classes in the Bachelor's program. The aim is to improve the ability to communicate effectively in professional English, develop knowledge of grammatical structures, strengthen the ability to express themselves in oral and written speech fluently, correctly and stylistically appropriate. Next, learn the principles of good scientific writing and professional correspondence. Students can create professional text in English. Students can master the basics of performance in professional meetings in English.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.
