Course content
Individual practice 2 takes place in clinical workplaces under the guidance of a radiological assistant who: - leads professional experience in a field in which he / she is a qualified expert in his / her field and has appropriate training for the pedagogical guidance of the student, - is responsible for clinical supervision in the practice of students and evaluates the student in the Journal of Professional Practice, where he / she records the attendance of the student and the fulfillment of individual practical tasks on a daily basis. Clinical departments: total 240 hours (6 weeks) - Department of radiodiagnostics: (2 weeks) - Radiotherapy department: (2 weeks) - Department of Nuclear Medicine: (2 weeks)

Learning outcomes
The course is an essential part of the complex of theoretical and practical study plan subjects. The subject Individual Practical Training 2 enables students to extend their knowledge and skills in the conditions of clinical workplaces acquired by studying theoretical and theoretical-practical subjects in classrooms and laboratories. The student will acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes in the area of providing health care in accordance with legal regulations and standards, adherence to the hygienic-epidemiological regime in accordance with legal regulations governing the protection of public health, medical records and other documentation resulting from other legislation, working with the information system of a health service provider, providing information to the patient in accordance with their professional competence, motivating and educating individuals, families and groups to adopt a healthy lifestyle and self-care, measures to deal with the consequences of an emergency or crisis , performing activities in terms of radiation protection, application of medicinal products necessary to perform procedures through the gastrointestinal tract, airways, subcutaneous, skin and intramuscular injections and in the area of insertion of peripheral venous catheters.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
Practical exam

Credit: - Attendance at practice: 100% (duly completed and confirmed in the Professional Practice Log), in the case of absence it is necessary to consult the practice upon agreement at the given workplace and with the assistant of the Faculty of Health Studies, - assessment of knowledge and skills for individual clinical departments / departments. Further requirements for the student: - valid vaccination against hepatitis B, training in OHS and FP, - Passing Individual Practical Training 2 is a prerequisite for continuing in the third year of study.
