Course content
|
Lectures: 1) Income patients, translation patients, patients discharge. Patient, bed, care unit. Ward. Nosocomial infections. Antisepsis, disinfection, sterilization. Hygiene patients. 2) Nursing process while maintaining the position of patient. Medical rehabilitation. Care for physiological functions. 3) Care for evacuation of urine and stool in patient. Nursing process while maintaining evacuation of urine and stool. Nursing process in a patient whose urine, stool. 4) Nursing process in patient in order to provide nutrition and hydration. 5) Nursing process while applying various forms of medicine: per os, injection forms, infusions, transfusions, oxygentherapy, peripheral vein access. 6) Theoretical introduction - collection, transport and storage of biological material. Seminars: 1) Home, care unit, bed and utilities, ward, barrier nursing care, antisepsis, sepsis, disinfection, sterilization. 2) Hygienic care in an adult patient. 3) Hygiene care for pediatric patient (measuring and weighing), application of heat and cold. 4) Positioning, patient rehabilitation, bandages DK, rating scales, predilection sites of pressure sores. Fundamentals of kinesthetic mobilization. 5) Nursing care in ensuring physiological function in patients. 6) Nursing care in ensuring the discharge of urine, catheterization, urine sampling. 7) Nursing care in ensuring bowel movements. Subscriptions stool enema. 8) Nursing care for nutrition and hydration, the principles of the administration of food and fluids, sipping. 9) Procedure in the administration of drugs (in the form of per os, id, s.c., i,m,). 10) Procedure for applying medication intravenously, oxygen and inhalation technique. 11) Procedure for the collection of biological material (swabs, swabs, sputum, vomit...), blood tests - an introduction. 12) Blood tests.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject included as a compulsory subject of the study branch forms a basis of professional abilities. The instruction is both theoretical and practical. It enables to acquire basic manual skill, confidence of safe and well executed medical performance on patients. Well executed performance respects individual needs of patients, mainly their need of comfort, respect, certainty and safety.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

|
Combined examination, Student's performance analysis, Didactic test
Self. 80 % attendance at lectures met. 80 % met the attendance at tutorials. The processing tests for individual units. Practical implementation of different scenarios of the nursing care by entering.
