Course content
Lectures: GENERAL AND SPECIAL PATHOLOGY 1) Introduction to the field, the role of pathology, basic examinations. Regressive changes. 2) Inflammations. Progressive changes. 3) Oncology. 4) Pathology of circulation system. 5) Pathology of respirational system. 6) Pathology of digestive system. 7) Pathology of urinary system. 8) Pathology of genital system. 9) Pathology of neural system. Pathology of kinetic apparatus. 10) Endocrinology. 11) Pathology of dermis and sensual organs. Summary. Seminars: The topics of seminars will correspond to the topic of the lecture in a particular week; seminars will supplement the theoretical facts covered in lectures. If the situation allows it - attendance on pathological anatomic autopsy. Continuous written tests.

Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
Pathology introduces disorders of cells, tissues and organ systems functions, disorders of metabolism, immunity and the organism as a whole. Knowledge gained in Pathology is further developed in Pathological Physiology.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Combined examination, Oral exam, Didactic test

Requirements for zápočet: 80 % Attendance on seminars, tolerated absence: 2 lessons. Oral exam a student selects three questions by chance - 1 from general pathology, 2 from special.
