Course content
|
Lectures: 1) Organization and financing of air rescue service, specifics of operation including OSH and PPO 2) Definition of air rescue service activities in cooperation with other IRS units 3) Definition of competencies and duties of paramedics within the air rescue service 4) Techniques of work of paramedic in air rescue service (work in tow, unreachable terrain) Exercises: 1) Case reports with examples of air rescue service intervention 2) Practical examples of cooperation between the air rescue service and the integrated rescue system components (landing, take-off, etc.) 3) Specifics of paramedics work on air rescue service Practical training of paramedics 1. 5) Practical training of paramedics 2. 6) Acquaintance with tools for work in hitch, inaccessible terrain 7) Excursion to air rescue service

|
Students will become familiar with the organization and management of air rescue services.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Classified credit: - 80% participation in exercises, - a written test.
