Lectures: 1) Introduction 2) Biophysical aspects of therapy 3) Conventional ventilation 4) High-frequency ventilation 5) Anesthesia equipment 6) Instrumentation in miniinvasive surgery - endoscopic towers 7) Microwave diathermy 8) Apparatus for therapy - electrotherapy 9) Devices for therapy - magnetotherapy 10) Apparatus for therapy - thermotherapy, phototherapy 11) Cryotherapy 12) Therapeutic laser 13) Supporting circulators 14) Infusion technology Exercises: 1) Technical standards related to patient ventilation and anesthesia devices 2) Technical standards related to patient therapy devices 3) Conventional ventilation 4) High-frequency ventilation 5) Anesthesia equipment 6) Instrumentation in miniinvasive surgery - endoscopic tower 7) Microwave diathermy 8) Apparatus for therapy - electrotherapy 9) Devices for therapy - magnetotherapy 10) Apparatus for therapy - thermotherapy, phototherapy 11) Cryotherapy 12) Therapeutic laser 13) Supporting circulators 14) Infusion technology - verification of dosing accuracy, BTK devices

Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
The subject follows the course Instrumentation 1. Students will learn the technique used in anesthesia and therapy, including the relationship to technical standards and specific clinical use.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination, Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Credit: - 80% attendance at exercises verified by tests, - term paper, - kept documentation of laboratory tasks. Exam: - written exam, - oral exam.
