Course content
Lecture: 1) General principles of X-ray imaging 2) X-ray anatomy of upper and lower limb 3) X-ray anatomy of axial skeleton 4) X-ray anatomy of the skull (facial skeleton, skull base, targeted skull images) 5) X-ray anatomy of intra-thoracic organs 6) X-ray anatomy of the abdomen Exercises: 1) Image X-ray documentation using browsers 2) Visual X-ray documentation of the upper and lower limbs 3) X-ray image documentation of axial skeleton 4) X-ray anatomy of the skull (facial skeleton, skull base, targeted skull images) 5) Visual X-ray documentation of the chest and lungs 6) Visual X-ray documentation of the abdomen and pelvis

Learning outcomes
The course builds on the knowledge of anatomy. Students are acquainted with the representation of organs and structures of the body in X-ray images in basic and special projections with normal finding, sometimes with the display of pathological conditions.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Credit: - self-study, - 80% attendance at exercises. Exam: - written test.
