Course content
Lectures: 1) Radiotherapy of head and neck tumors 2) Radiotherapy of brain tumors, brain metastases 3) Radiotherapy of breast tumors 4) Radiotherapy of esophageal and lung tumors 5) Radiotherapy of prostate tumors. Radiotherapy of rectal tumors 6) Radiotherapy of gynecological malignant tumors 7) Palliative radiotherapy - importance, differences in implementation compared to curative radiotherapy, importance, indications Exercises: 1) Patient preparation and tolerance during irradiation of head and neck tumors 2) Patient preparation and tolerance during breast irradiation 3) Patient preparation and tolerance during lung irradiation 4) Patient preparation and tolerance during irradiation of the pelvis - prostate 5) Patient preparation and tolerance during irradiation of the pelvis - rectum, gynecological tumors 6) Patient preparation and tolerance during palliative irradiation 7) Recapitulation

Learning outcomes
The subject Radiotherapy 3 extends and complements the information obtained in the subject Radiotherapy 1 and 2. The student will be acquainted with radiotherapy of individual cancer diseases including adverse effects of radiotherapy.
Students will gain knowledge about radiotherapy for individual cancer diseases, including the side effects of radiotherapy.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Oral exam, Test

Credit: - 80% participation in exercises, - written test. Exam: - oral exam.
