The course is classified as a compulsory basis of the profession of non-medical healthcare workers. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the issue of nursing, as a scientific discipline itself, education of non-medical healthcare workers, including their registration for the pursuit of a profession without professional supervision; to professional organizations of non-medical healthcare workers, nursing methodology, research and management in non-medical healthcare fields, multicultural and transcultural nursing and other related aspects. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to gain a thorough knowledge of the subject of nursing as a modern scientific discipline.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
