Course content
|
Lectures: 1) Mountain Rescue Service, its competences and position within the IRS 2) Introduction to the content and course of practical training 3) Theoretical introduction to avalanche problems 4) Basic nodes and their use Exercises: 1) Practical training in the ski area: Getting to know the rescue equipment HS at the Ještěd station; care and transports on the ski slope 2) Practical training in the ski area: avalanche rescue, work with avalanche locator, rescue of a buried person, etc .; building a belay station in the snow, lowering and hauling a transport vehicle 3) Practical training on ferrata: movement on ferrata; building a belay site - spider 4) Practical training on ferrata: Lowering and pulling a person in a suspension bag and evacuation seat; basics of rock climbing, abseiling with securing etc.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will learn to define and describe alpine issues in emergency care. Students will acquire the position of mountain rescue service as an IRS component. Students will learn the basic ways of transporting a patient from mountain terrain.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Interview
Credit: - 80% participation in exercises, - mastering assigned tasks.
