Lectures: Pediatrics 1) The most common diseases of childhood: manifestations, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention 2) The most common diseases of adolescents: manifestations, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention Gynecology - obstetrics 3) The most common gynecological inflammatory diseases: manifestations, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention 4) The most common gynecological cancer diseases: manifestations, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention Neurology 5) The most common acute neurological diseases: manifestations, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention 6) The most common chronic neurological diseases: manifestations, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention Oncology 7) Principles of primary and secondary prevention, problems of tumor diagnostics, examination methods in oncology 8) The most common oncological diseases, overview of complex cancer therapy ENT, dermatology 9) The most common diseases of the ENT area: manifestations, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention 10) The most common inflammatory and tumor diseases of the skin: manifestations, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention Ophthalmic 11) The most common eye diseases: symptoms, diagnostics, treatment options and prevention

Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject acquaints students with selected chapters from individual clinical fields of medicine, namely pediatrics, gynecology and obstetrics, neurology, oncology, ENT and dermatology, ophthalmology. The course focuses on acquiring knowledge about diseases in selected fields to the extent necessary for future non-medical healthcare workers.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Oral exam, Essay

Credit: - seminar paper on a given topic. Exam: - oral exam.
