Course content
Lectures 1. Basic Electronic Elements and Circuits 2. Overview and Parameters of Basic Passive Elements 3. Basic elements for processing and modifying analog signals 4. Semiconductors - Transistors, Parameters, Characteristics 5. Operational amplifier, characteristics, characteristics, connection with OZ 6. Introduction to digital electronics 7. Characteristics of digital signals, basic logic operators, logic functions, numerical systems, codes 8. Combined logic circuits, basic logic circuits 9. Truth table, Karnaugh map, realization of tasks with basic logical circuits; decoder, multiplexer 10. Sequential logic circuits; implementation principle, R-S circuit, level D-flip-flop, Master / Slave circuits 11. Application of flip-flops; registers, memory counters, and partitions 12. Transmitters, bus 13. Computers; a brief historical overview, microprocessors and their development 14. Architecture of microcontroller CISC and RISC, PICAXE microprocessor 1. Basic measure 2. Voltage reference 3. Transistor amplifier - calculation 4. Transistor amplifier - measure 5. Operational amplifier, practical use 6. Combinatorial logic circuits, characteristics 7. Combinatorial logic circuits with NAND gates 8. Combinatorial logic circuits using multiplexer and decoder 9. Sequential circuits, SR latch, D-latch 10. Sequential circuits,, D-flipflops, JK-flipflops, registers, counter 11. Integrated counters, memories ant their application 12. ADC, DAC 13. The PICAXE platform 14. Summary.

Learning outcomes
The course covers the basics of analog and digital electronics to interpretation functions, properties and applications of basic elements (passive components, bipolar and unipolar transistors, operational amplifiers, gates and flip-flops) and the simplest circuits (amplifier, register, counter, memory, CPU).

Combined examination, Oral exam, Written exam

Requirements for getting a credit are activity at the practicals /seminars and successful passing the tests. Examination is of the written and oral forms.
