Learning outcomes
|
The course introduces students to the issues of information technologies used in radiology. The course expands and complements students' knowledge and skills in informatics and computer technology. The course also discusses the issues of PACS, electronic archiving of image documentation, DICOM format, NIS, Internet communication between individual subjects, and the interconnection of individual imaging modalities.
Students will gain basic knowledge of the most widespread user environments in radiology, software editing options, image processing and reconstruction, the creation of 3D models, and the latest IT trends in the field.
