Course content
1. General procedure - Integrated emergency system + calling the ambulance - Approach to the unconscious (breathing) 2. Adult CPR 3. Severe trauma - Massive bleeding - Head, spine, trunk trauma (pneumothorax) 4. Other injuries - Wound treatment, amputation - limb fracture, RICE (?) - burns and frostbite - hypothermia 5. Internal acute emegencies - Collapse - Shortness of breath and chest pain (1.Acute myocardial infaction, 2.AB/COPD) - Movement and speech disorders - Stroke - Seizure 6. Internal acute emegencies2 - Overheating and dehydration - Vomiting and diarrhoea - Abdominal pain - Allergies incl. Anaphylaxis - Diabetes mellitus - Psych. behavior "he's weird" 7. Acute conditions in children - CPR of children - Fever and convulsions - Respiratory distress (laryngitis, epiglottitis) - Meningococcus - Abdominal pain and diarrhoea 8. Learning outcomes
This course provides comprehensive training in basic first aid techniques, focusing on real-life scenarios and practical applications. Students will learn essential skills such as CPR, wound management, and emergency response in a hands-on environment, facilitated by experienced instructors. Through interactive simulations and case studies, participants will gain the confidence and competence to effectively administer first aid in various emergency situations
