Lectures: 1) Basic concepts - symptoms, syndrome, etiology, pathogenesis, course of diseases, complications, prophylaxis, prevention, prevalence, incidence, monitoring of vital functions 2) Anamnesis - general, parts; physical examination 3) General examination - consciousness, habitus, position, voice, skin and adnexa, temperature, swelling; examination of the head and neck 4) Examination of blood vessels, examination of the heart - anamnesis, physical examination, methods 5) ECG - principles, basic diagnostics, monitoring options 6) Subjective and objective symptoms of heart and blood vessel diseases 7) Examination of the lungs, ventilation disorders, chest puncture; subjective and objective symptoms of respiratory diseases, chest examination 8) Subjective and objective symptoms of digestive diseases, main examination methods 9) Examination of the abdomen and digestive system, sudden abdominal events - history, physical examination 10) Examination of the musculoskeletal system 11) Examination of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas 12) Examination of the kidneys and urinary tract - history, physical examination, methods 13) Symptoms of endocrine system diseases, examination methods; diabetes mellitus and complications, examination methods 14) Disorders of the internal environment, acid-base balance; examination methods for disorders of hematopoiesis, blood transfusion

Learning outcomes
|
The subject includes comprehensive information on the symptomatology of systemic diseases, diagnostic examination methods in individual fields of medicine, basic techniques and physical examination procedures required for the provision of specific nursing care in connection with radiological procedures.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
