Course content
Lectures: 1) Definition of managerial job. Basics of management thinking and practice. Organizational environment. Management goals. Strategic planning. Planning for the event. Managerial decision. Dimension of the organization and its creation. Human resources. Communication. Motivation. Coaching, creating groups. Chaosmanagement. 2) Basic control. Behavioral aspects of control. Information Systems Management (MIS). Management and production control. Adaptive organization and manager changes. 3) medical management, nursing management. Structuring managerial positions in health care, management skills. Internal and external factors affecting the current nursing. system access in management. 4) Management of change. Quality management. Standards, audits, accreditation, certification. Creating standards in nursing. Model introduction of continuous quality improvement. Information resource management in healthcare. Problem solving, critical thinking. Planning. 5) Specifics of communication in health care, principles of effective communication, organizing meetings. Leadership - styles leadership, motivation and stimulation techniques, cooperation and competition in a group, the possibilities of personality development manager. 6) The importance of crisis management in health care. Health tasks in the security system of the state. 7) The protection of the population in the Czech Republic - the tasks of the persons and bodies to protect the population, measures to protect Population (information, warning the population, individual personal protection, sheltering the population, evacuation people, emergency survival of citizens, civil protection).

Learning outcomes
The subject introduces fundamentals of modern management in the area of material and personal resources. It deals in detail with problems of organisation and managing health institutions, marketing of health services, personal management, management of quality in health care.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.
