Course content
Lectures: 1. Specificity in providing nursing care to patients of Roma and Ukrainian minorities. 2. Specifics of nursing care to patients and the Christian Orthodox religion. 3. Specifics of nursing care to patients Vietnamese and Chinese minorities. 4. Specifics of nursing care provided to patients with the Muslim faith. 5. Specific providing nursing care to patients with the Jewish faith. 6. Specifics of nursing care to patients and patients Mongolian minority professing Buddhism. 7. Special Characteristics of nursing care provided by Jehovah's Witnesses and other minorities. Final revision.

Learning outcomes
It introduces the need of multicultural approach in the care of individual needs of a human being, the need of respecting one's own cultural values, faith, religion, conviction. The aim of the subject is to understand terms ethnicity, culture, spirituality, faith, religion, to learn about the basic characteristics of chosen ethnic, cultural and religion groups, to be able to adjust the nursing care to individuals, families and communities of these minority groups.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.
