Course content
|
Lectures: 1) Craniocerebral injury (hematoma, bleeding contusion, coma, brain compression); brain tumors. 2) Cardiac surgery, operations on valves, blood vessels, reconstructive operations on coronary arteries. 3) Disease of the spine (inflammation, tumor, herniation, injury). 4) Diseases of veins (varicose veins, phlebothrombosis, thrombophlebitis), diseases of arteries (ICHDK, aneurysm, reconstructive procedures on arteries), amputation. 5) Disease of the thyroid gland (inflammation, tumor, autoimmunity, dysfunction); disease of the larynx (laryngectomy). 6) General characteristics of transplants (legislation, organ harvesting), basic principles of treatment, post-transplantation treatment. 7) Acute conditions in urology - urolithiasis, prostate disease (inflammation, tumor), other diseases in urology (hydrocele, testicular torsion, phimosis, condylomata). Exercises: 1) Nursing process in a patient with a craniocerebral injury. 2) Nursing process for a patient after cardiac surgery. 3) Nursing process for a patient with a spinal cord injury. 4) Nursing process in a patient with vein and artery disease (embolism, thrombosis, conditions after surgery). 5) Nursing process in a patient after total laryngectomy and after strumectomy. 6) Nursing process in a patient after a kidney transplant. 7) Nursing process in a patient with urolithiasis.

|
The aim of the subject is to familiarize with the issues of the field of surgery, clinical conditions and diseases in surgical fields, implementation of the nursing process for individual surgical diseases. The subject is designed as theoretical and practical whole.
