Course content
Lectures: 1) Community and community care: general information, basic characteristics. 2) Community care and its components, distribution, principles. 3) Home care: basic characteristics, forms. 4) Providing home care to different target groups. 5) The role of caregivers in home care, their support, care for them. 6) Technology in home care, ethical and legal aspects of home care. 7) Connection of community and home care, opportunities for cooperation, role of multidisciplinary teams. Exercise: 1. - 7. Project work: - assigning a nursing project, - selection of a central topic, determination of target groups, - independent processing ? methodology, tools, timeline, - consultation on the issue, solving any problems, - implementation in the field, - implementation in the field, - evaluation of the project work and final summary of the project work.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to obtain basic information about community and home care, as an important part of health care, with focusing on providing care and support to patients outside the hospital environment. The theoretical-practical subject introduces the differences in the provision of urgent care to patients in their home environment or in community facilities.
The student will acquire basic information about the provision of care and support to patients outside the hospital environment.
