The aim of the subject is to deepen the knowledge and improve the skills of students, acquired especially in Nursing subjects procedures and First Aid and follow up on the subject Emergency care and nursing procedures in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care 1. In the subject, students will learn about issues and nursing procedures in particular in anaesthesia, the issue of artificial pulmonary ventilation and advanced vascular access in medical facilities and with the most common types of cardiac arrhythmias and their treatment. Together with the subject Urgent care and nursing procedures in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care 1 this subject provides the necessary basic knowledge for the follow-up subject (Emergency care and nursing procedures in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care 3).
After completing the course, the student: - knows comprehensively the issues of anesthesia care, knows the basics of analgosedation and pain treatment, - can provide nursing care in operating theaters and the recovery room, - orients himself in the possibilities of patient monitoring in the intensive care unit, - knows nursing procedures associated with patient care for artificial lung ventilation and vascular access.
