Course content
Lecture: 1) Skin, clinical morphology; current clinical condition of the skin; pathogenesis of skin disorders; standard diagnostic examinations, procedures, tests; principles of treatment of skin diseases. 2) Parasitic, fungal, bacterial, viral skin diseases; nevi, benign and malignant skin tumors; Erythematopapulosquamous diseases, bullous dermatitis, acne and facial dermatoses. 3) Eczema and dermatitis, drug rashes; acute and urgent care for septic conditions in dermatovenerology; specifics skin care with impaired skin integrity. 4) Venereal diseases. 5) Anatomy of the eye; pathogenesis of eye disorders. 6) Standard diagnostic examination, tests; principles of treatment of eye diseases. 7) Immediate and follow-up care for patients with eye injuries. Exercises: 1) Specifics of the approach to a patient diagnosed with scabies, syphilis, gonorrhea. 2) Immediate and follow-up care for acute dermatovenerological diseases. 3) Principles of communication for visually impaired patients. 4) Immediate and follow-up care for patients with eye injuries.

The aim of the subject is to familiarize with the theoretical and practical issues of selected fields, to integrate the acquired knowledge in nursing care, including emergency care, of individual selected fields.
