Professional practice 3 takes place in clinical workplaces under the supervision of a radiological assistant Clinical workplaces: total 280 hours (7 weeks): - radiodiagnostics workplace, - radiotherapy workplace, - nuclear medicine workplace

Learning outcomes
|
The course is an essential part of the complex of theoretical and practical study plan subjects. The course Professional Practice 3 enables students to extend their knowledge and skills in the conditions of clinical workplaces acquired by studying theoretical and theoretical-practical subjects in classrooms and laboratories. The student will acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes in the area of providing health care in accordance with legal regulations and standards, adherence to the hygienic-epidemiological regime in accordance with legal regulations governing the protection of public health, medical records and other documentation resulting from other legislation, working with the information system of a health service provider, providing information to the patient in accordance with their professional competence, motivating and educating individuals, families and groups to adopt a healthy lifestyle and self-care, measures to deal with the consequences of an emergency or crisis , performing activities in terms of radiation protection, application of medicinal products necessary to perform procedures through the gastrointestinal tract, airways, subcutaneous, skin and intramuscular injections and in the area of insertion of peripheral venous catheters.
Students will acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes, especially in the area of ??providing healthcare in accordance with legal regulations and standards, compliance with the hygiene and epidemiological regime in accordance with legal regulations governing the protection of public health, entries in medical documentation and other documentation resulting from other legal regulations, working with the information system of the healthcare provider, providing information to the patient in accordance with their professional competence, motivation and education of individuals, families and groups of people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and take care of themselves, measures to address the consequences of an emergency or crisis situation, performing activities in terms of radiation protection, applying medicines necessary for performing procedures through the digestive tract, respiratory tract, in the form of subcutaneous, cutaneous and intramuscular injections, and also in the area of ??introducing peripheral venous catheters.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Systematické pozorování studenta
Classified credit: - attendance at practice: 100% (duly completed and confirmed in the Journal of Professional Practice), in the case of absence it is necessary to replace the practice after agreement at the given workplace and with the assistant of the Faculty of Health Studies, - assessment of knowledge and skills for individual clinical departments. Further requirements for the student: - valid vaccination against hepatitis B, training in OSH and FP.
