Professional practice 4 takes place in clinical settings under the supervision of a radiology assistant. Clinical settings: 280 hours in total (7 weeks) - Radiodiagnostics, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine settings: 240 hours - Practical skills course: 40 hours

Learning outcomes
|
The course is an essential part of the complex of theoretical and practical study plan subjects. The course Professional Practice 4 enables students to broaden their knowledge and skills in clinical workplaces acquired by studying theoretical and theoretical-practical subjects in classrooms and laboratories. The student will acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes in the area of providing health care in accordance with legal regulations and standards, adherence to the hygienic-epidemiological regime in accordance with legal regulations governing the protection of public health, medical records and other documentation resulting from other legislation, working with the information system of a health service provider, providing information to the patient in accordance with their professional competence, motivating and educating individuals, families and groups to adopt a healthy lifestyle and self-care, measures to deal with the consequences of an emergency or crisis , performing activities in terms of radiation protection, application of medicinal products necessary to perform procedures through the gastrointestinal tract, airways, subcutaneous, skin and intramuscular injections and in the area of insertion of peripheral venous catheters.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Systematické pozorování studenta, Practical exam
Credit: - attendance at practice: 100% (duly completed and confirmed in the Journal of Professional Practice), in the case of absence it is necessary to replace the practice after agreement at the given workplace and with the assistant of the Faculty of Health Studies, - assessment of knowledge and skills for individual clinical departments / departments. Exam: - conducting a practical examination at a clinical site before the examination board. Further requirements for the student: - valid vaccination against hepatitis B, training in OSH and FP.
