Course content
Workplace: . Acute care unit (ICU, ARO, emergency admission) -2 weeks. . Women's care workplace - 1 week. . Child care center - 1 week. . Medical emergency service - 2 weeks. . Driving and navigation skills course - 1 week. Professional practice 5 takes place at clinical workplaces under the guidance of a professional mentor or professional assistant. The mentor leads professional practice in such an area in which he is an expert and at the same time is responsible for the clinical supervision of the students' practice. The assistant professor or mentor evaluates the student in the Journal of professional practice, where he records the student's attendance and performance on a daily basis individual practical performances. When starting practice in the department, the assistant professor or mentor sets pedagogical goals, which he documents and evaluates together with the student in the pedagogical documentation, and also prepares the evaluation student. Clinical workplaces for teaching are selected on the basis of valid legislation. Their validity and compliance is contractual secured. The scope and content of Professional practice 5 is defined by the study plan (time range, professional workplaces) and by the TUL schedule (time distribution).

Learning outcomes
The subject is a basic part of the complex of theoretical and practical subjects of the study plan. The subject enables students to apply acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the conditions of clinical workplaces. The aim of the subject is to deepen and improve practical skills and habits leading to the achievement of a graduate profile. Furthermore, to teach students independence, responsibility and inclusion in the medical team at the clinical workplace.
The student acquires and improves practical skills and habits leading to the acquisition of a graduate profile, learns independence, responsibility and integration into the medical team at the clinical workplace.
Prerequisites
. Individual professional practice 2 . valid vaccination against hepatitis B, training in Safety and Health protection during work and Fire protection

Systematické pozorování studenta

. attendance at practice: 100% (duly completed and confirmed in the Professional Practice Diary), in case of absence, it is necessary to replace the practice by agreement at the workplace and with an assistant professor of the Faculty of Health Studies . assessment of knowledge and skills for individual clinical workplaces/departments
