Nursing practice follows the plan of clinical instruction, under the supervision of an assistant, mentor of nursing. He/she teaches such areas of nursing care he/she specializes in and at the same time is responsible for the clinical supervision of students during their practice. His /her responsibility is shared with an experienced doctor from clinical practice who also participates on the instruction. A mentor from clinical practice is a qualified specialist in his/her field and is prepared for teaching. Clinical work places for teaching are selected on the basis of set standards according to set criteria. Their validity and abidance is contractually ensured. The extent and content of nursing practice is set by the study plan (time planning, lesson allocation, work places), by the character of nursing practice and by an inner provision which sets formal and content conditions of nursing practice.
