Course content
Lectures: 1) Nursing process, obtaining information, assessing patient needs. 2) Nursing diagnostics, formulation of nursing diagnoses. 3) Setting goals, planning nursing care. 4) Implementation of planned nursing care, documentation. 5) Evaluation of nursing care carried out by a nurse. Exercises: 1) Practical use of the nursing process. 2) Nursing assessment of the patient's needs, formulating questions to obtain information. 3) Creating nursing diagnoses - solving model situations. 4) Goals and expected results of nursing care, implementation of nursing plans. 5) Model tasks: Nursing assessment of patient needs according to the M. Gordon model. 6) Model tasks: Determination of nursing diagnoses. 7) Model tasks: Nursing care planning. 8) Model tasks: Implementation of nursing care, evaluation of nursing care. 9) Evaluation of the results of nursing plans, work with documentation.

Learning outcomes
The subject is a necessary part of the provision of nursing care, including urgent care. It allows you to understand the main goal professional nursing practice, i.e. ensuring and satisfying the life needs of the patient, family and community, practicing individual phases of the nursing process (methodology of nursing practice). It focuses on reactions, manifestations unsatisfied needs of healthy, sick, disabled and dying persons.
