Course content
|
Lectures: 1) Personality; creation and formation of personality; basic theory of personality 2) Prenatal human development; its influence on the formation of the individual's psyche 3) Psychological aspects of communication with client - patient; risk topics in client-patient communication The most common areas of conflict and misunderstanding in client-patient communication; the extent and adequacy of the content of communication with the client - patient in relation to his / her health condition 4) Psychological problems of pain 5) Behavioral medicine and behavioral health 6) The personality of the healthcare professional is its formation and formation 7) Ethics and morality of a healthcare worker Exercises: 1) Man as a human being; bio-psycho-social approach to client - patient 2) Maslow's pyramid of human needs. Needs of clients and patients, their importance and importance. 3) Prophylactic preparation of clients - patients for professional medical procedures, its content and importance in relation to the type of procedure (invasive and non-invasive procedures). 4) The relationship between body and mind. Basics of health psychology. Psychosomatic medicine. 5) Psychological health issues of client - patient. Influence of mental disorders on behavior and behavior of client - patient 6) Psychological issues in transplantology and organ donation 7) Burn out syndrome

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the problems of selected psychological topics in biomedicine, understanding these topics and understanding the importance of these topics. The exercise in the course is then included training social skills related to topics.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.

Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Didactic test, Presentation of acquired knowledge via paper
Classified credit: - activity in lectures and seminars, - self-study, - seminar paper on current issues with its presentation and defense.
