Course content
Lectures: 1) Pathophysiology of the cardiovascular system. 2) Pathophysiology of the respiratory system. 3) Pathophysiology of blood and hemocoagulation. 4) Pathophysiology of the digestive system. 5) Pathophysiology of inflammation and sepsis. 6) Pathophysiology of the endocrine system. 7) Pathophysiology of the excretory system, basic types of water and salt management disorders, acid-base balance disorders. 8) Pathophysiologically significant metabolic disorders. 9) Pathophysiology of the nervous system. 10) Pathophysiology of acute conditions. Exercises: 1) General pathology. 2) Special pathology. 3) Pathophysiology of selected systems 1. 4) Pathophysiology of selected systems 2. 5) Excursion to the Department of Pathology.

Learning outcomes
Introduces disorders of the structure of cells, tissues, organs, disorders internal metabolism, nutrition, immunity, harmful physical, chemical, microbial and parasitic influences acting on the human organism.
