Course content
Lectures and seminars: 1) The subject of social psychology, socialization. 2) The family as the primary group, types and family development. 3) Discussion, demonstrations, problem solving specialized in the field of nursing. 4) Small social groups. 5) The impact of social groups to changes in perception. 6) Getting to know people. 7) Formation of impressions. 8) Aspects of the social structure. 9) The roles. 10) Stereotypes in the perception of others, stereotypes directed at any group. 11) The attitudes, attitudinal changes. 12) Communication processes. 13) Stressful situations.

Learning outcomes
The course is conceived as part of the discipline of psychology, which is within its theoretical - practical content It focuses on social issues. The aim is to deepen students' knowledge about the behavior and human behavior and clarifies the process of social interactions, which are important for professional mastering difficult situations in the care of individual needs the sick, handicapped and dying, and at the same time maintaining mental balance caregiver and assistance. The student is able to define the importance of families in the socio-cultural context. Students are able to define the importance of socialization. Students are able to explain the concepts of social roles, stereotypes, social groups.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.
