Course content
Selected chapters from individual clinical branches of medicine. SURGERY Asepsis, antisepsis, disinfection, sterilization, surgery infections, nosocomial infections. Anesthesia. Kinds of anesthesia. General and local anesthesia. Pre-surgery and post-surgery care, post-surgery complications. Principles of operational surgery: inflammations. The treatment of inflammations in surgery. Tumors and their treatment in surgery. General traumatology. Shock, treatment, prevention. First aid. Traumatology. Urology. The surgery of the head, neck, spine, thorax, abdomen, digestive tube, sudden abdominal episodes, the surgery of blood vessels. INNER MEDICINE The division into branches. Respiration, cardiovascular, hematology, gastroenterology diseases, nephrology diseases and dialysis, endocrine, rheumatology diseases, acidobasal and ion balance disorders.

Learning outcomes
The subject informs students about selected chapters from individual clinical branches of medicine - surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, gynaecology - obstetrics, neurology, oncology, otorhinolaryngology and dermatology.
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
Preconditions are frased in the annotation of the course and in the curriculum of the studying programme.
