The course prepares students for a language exam. As far as reading skills are concerned, students take the exam at B1 level and in terms of the other skills (speaking, writing, listening) they take the exam at A2 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference.

Conditions and Requirements: 1. Regular attendance (students have to apologize if they are absent) 2. Regular G-Meet Sessions at meet.google.com/one-tjpa-hqy 3. Fulfilling the prescribed TUL study time-management/policy 4. Active participation in the class and thorough preparation for the subject 5. Critical thinking, fluent English, mature and responsible approach, motivation, hard work, fulfilling of homework and assignments 6. Having access to the mandatory study materials: https://www.ajshop.cz/oxford-university-press/navigate-pre-intermediate-b1-student-s-book-with-dvd-rom-ebook-eworkbook-online-skills/ 7. Covering units 3,4 in Course book (page 26-46) as well as the Workbook (page 18-31) 8. Sitting for an oral exam. Students are examined orally on-line via a Skype Session Meeting. My Skype address is Dagmar Grzincic without any pictures. Each student is examined from 10-15 minutes and the exam content is merely derived from the mandatory literature.
