Course content
The course covers Units 1 - 4 of the textbook (New) English File, and prepares students for the follow-up course of KAJ/KA2B which covers Units 2 - 8 of the same textbook.

Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Individual consultation, Students' self-study

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to develop language competences by studying a balanced mix of the four language skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing) and the four language systems (Grammar, Vocabulary, Functions & Pronunciation) with a strong emphasis on practical, every day communication.
