Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is deeper, critical theoretical insight into the issues of alternatives in teaching English and practical application of techniques and trategies of the application of alternative methods to teaching.

Credit Requirements - E-Learning enrollment as assignments and supplementary materials will be uploaded there. - Lecturing and handing in a mini research paper on one of the course topics. Topics are going to be assigned in the first session of the course. The option of students' lectures will be decided based on the number of students. - Written final examination. Students can pass the course if they score 70% on the written final exam. (There will not be a retake choice.) - Presence is compulsory. You are allowed one session of absence. Please inform your teacher via email BEFORE the session if you cannot attend. - Active class participation is required. - A regular TUL email check is required since that is the quickest way for the teacher to contact students. Grading system - Class attendance 5% - Active class participation 5% - Mini research paper: It should be based on course topics or to be discussed at the beginning of the semester and chosen by 01.11.24. The paper should be typed in Times New Roman, Font 14, Doubled line spacing, and be uploaded to E-learning by 13.12.24. 40% - Written final examination 50% Part-time students: - They should cover the exact online and/or in-person requirements.
