Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to develop language competences by studying a balanced mix of the four language skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing) and the four language systems (Grammar, Vocabulary, Functions & Pronunciation) with a strong emphasis on practical, every day communication.

Assessment methods and criteria
Interview, Test

At the end of the semester students take a credit test, which is equivalent with the B1/ B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF or CEFR). Thus, students should obtain the ability to achieve most goals and express themselves on a range of everyday topics. Two absences are allowed Final mark necessary for credit 70 percent based on continual assessment or final credit test based on the preference of the teacher.
