Learning outcomes
The course builds on the French Language 1 course. Its primary aim is to consolidate the knowledge acquired so far. An equally important component of the course is the further development of language competences, which is also realized evenly across all four language competence areas. In reading, students are able to understand simpler texts and, at the same time, learn through these texts to express themselves in a similar way in writing. In listening, the focus is on obtaining essential information from dialogues or situations in everyday life. Students understand a familiar range of vocabulary, while at the same time beginning to develop comprehension of more common internationalisms. At the level of general vocabulary, students are able to use words and phrases relating to themselves and, where appropriate, their family and friends. The aim of the course is to guide students, through systematic training, from level A0+ to level A1 according to the CEFR.
