Learning outcomes
The course continues in familiarizing students with the basics of essay writing. Its aim is to make sure that students are able to write short essays in non-fiction genres most often used in an academic environment. Similarly to the previous semester, this course also approaches writing as a process, with an emphasis on being able to understand the inner structure of texts, and to create essays in a conscious manner, based on careful planning and outlines. There course also puts a special emphasis on developing critical thinking and self-reflection.
Students improve their ability to read critically and to develop a logical and properly structured essay in English.
Prerequisites
