Learning outcomes
In this semester, studio teaching is conducted as vertical. The studio is assigned by the heads of architectural studios, personalities of Czech architecture. The student chooses both the supervising teacher and the studio assignment for the given semester. The assigned studio works follow the logic of the increasing difficulty of the assignment from the second to the fourth year (from a villa through an apartment building to more typologically demanding buildings and urban planning tasks). In studio work, emphasis is placed on the creative grasp of the task and application of the student's theoretical background, which are an integral part of the analytical part of the project. This semester is mainly devoted to the area of civic amenity buildings.
Ability to work independently on an assigned architectonic assignment.
