Course content
The student prepares a thesis according to the assignment. Together with the thesis supervisor and consultant, they determine the structure of the thesis. They search for professional domestic and foreign literature sources to use in preparing the thesis. The student begins to conduct a literature review for the thesis. They write a high-quality introductory chapter for the thesis and summarize the main findings and level of knowledge in the given field. They emphasize what the main contribution of the thesis should be in the given field.

Learning outcomes
Determining the logical structure and work schedule in close cooperation with the supervisor and consultant. Independent searching, sorting, and critical analysis of relevant domestic and foreign literature as a basis for own research. Preparing a literature review summarizing the current state of knowledge on the issue and defining the theoretical framework of the work. Preparation of the introductory chapter of the thesis with an emphasis on professional style, terminological accuracy, and compliance with formal requirements. Clear formulation of the objectives of the thesis and justification of its innovativeness or practical contribution to the given field of science.
Learning outcomes: Students will acquire knowledge of search techniques in specialized databases and basic rules for processing research and scientific texts. Students will improve their skills in systematic literature processing, including analysis and organization of information for scientific research purposes. Students will gain a basic overview of the main approaches to writing the introductory chapter of a thesis. Students will be able to navigate various literary sources and appropriately summarize the current state of knowledge.
