One block of lectures will be devoted to the environmental fate of pollutants and their behavior during waste processing and recycling. Another block of lectures will focus on plastics processing and the behavior of plastic waste in the natural environment. Exercises will focus on the analysis of texts from professional journals and student presentations on current issues in waste management.
