Course content
1. Basic concepts, history - development and composition of diet 2.-3. Anatomy and physiology of the digestive system - developmental differences 4. Anatomy and physiology of the liver and pancreas - developmental differences 5. Anatomy and physiology of the excretory system - management of fluids 6. Physiology, nutrient resorption (gastric processing, intestinal resorption, enterocytes), enzymopathy in infants, malabsorption syndromes of children and adults 7. Proteins in nutrition, carbohydrates in nutrition, lipids in nutrition - comparison of children of different ages and adults 8. Minerals, vitamins 9. Recommended doses of nutrients, pathophysiology of nutrition (problems of malnutrition and malnutrition). 10. Special types of nutrition (therapeutic diets), gerontological nutrition 11. Alternative ways of eating (vegetarianism, veganism, macrobiotic diet,...) 12. Substances with a negative effect on nutrition (carcinogens, mutagens, allergens, bacteria, "E" and others) 13. Defense of seminar work - compiling a menu, nutritional supplements, legislative aspects of food supplements, doping, nutrition in sports 14. Granting of credits
