Course content
|
Seminars, oriented to material and didactic means for teaching Chemistry and alternative teaching methods. Didactic programs and the possibility to use computers in teaching Chemistry. Audiovisual and multi-medial technology. Didactics of Chemistry disciplines, covered by curricula of elementary schools.

Learning outcomes
|
Master: material and didactic means for teaching Chemistry and alternative teaching methods. Didactic programs and the possibility to use computers in teaching Chemistry. Audiovisual and multi-medial technology. Didactics of Chemistry disciplines, covered by curricula of elementary schools.
To know educational principles for effective teaching. To explain and deduce basic knowledge on field, including simpler problem solving. To work practically and safely in chemistry lab.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of high school chemistry. It is expected that the student went through all the basic chemical disciplines (mainly general, physical, organic and anorganic chemistry and biochemistry) in the extend usual usual for this type of study. Optional is a basic knowledge of pedagogical psychology and didactics.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Combined examination
Min. 70% attendance with active participation. Seminar work.
