Learning outcomes
Synthetic materials have unprecedented potential for the treatment of human diseases. The course is focused on properties and development of biomaterials in relation to polymer chemistry and polymer physics. The aim is a qualitative and quantitative description of the mechanisms and principles that govern the rate of transport and release of drugs, their reactions and their degradation. The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge for the development of methods and biomaterials for drug delivery and release.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
unspecified

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination

Attendance at seminars, written and oral exam.
