Course content
Competence: vocabulary and structures + oral communication

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
- to develop and strengthen lexical and phraseological units of a general language - a scope of approx. 4,000 units - to develop basic language competence, mainly speaking - to develop different forms of speaking performance - discussions, presentations - systematic strengthening of a specific business vocabulary
Students obtain knowledge in given course in accordance with requirements and course programme.
Prerequisites
The student obtained the required language skills from the previous semester according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Didactic test, Systematické pozorování studenta

- participation in seminars - the successful completion of a test during the course of study - a fully developed oral presentation - a fully developed seminar paper - the successful completion of a written and oral exam
